HANDMADE & VINTAGE MAKES ITSELF AT HOME IN THE SOUTHSIDE!

Conveniently located in St Kilda’s Urban Hotel off bustling Fitzroy Street this new monthly indoor market provides market-goers with a relaxed, friendly environment in which to hunt down that perfect bespoke or by-gone era piece of treasure. 

The folks at Urban Hotel were so delighted with the market’s maiden voyage that they’ve offered the organisers even more space to flounce about in this time around. Co-organiser Anne Freeman explains “The July market was a great start for us but we’re eager to spread our wings a bit. Having more space means that not only can we include many more of Melbourne’s talented artisans and vintage purveyors but we can also create a live music and lounge-around destination within the market. This should put us high on the list of things to do on a lazy Sunday!” 

The August market will feature immaculate vintage-collector pieces, stylish pre-loved gems, hand- poured soy candles, one-off millinery creations, quirky greeting cards, unique jewellery pieces and up- coming designer fashion. There will even be some stylish duds to entice the boys out of hibernation! 

The Southside Handmade & Vintage Market will take place on the second Sunday of every month from 

11:00 – 17:00.
